Chen Danqing (1953-) is a painter and literary critic in China. My ancestral home is Taishan, Guangdong, and my native place is Shanghai. 1953 was born in Shanghai and jumped the queue in rural areas of Jiangxi and Jiangsu after graduating from high school; 1978 when resuming the college entrance examination, he was admitted to the graduate class of oil painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts with the same academic ability. 1980, Chen Danqing became famous with his oil painting "Tibetan paintings". He has strong modeling ability, exquisite painting style, sincere feelings, keen thinking and a stable and deep power. It is one of the representative works of scar art.
