The word "within the sea" in Shan Hai Jing is the territory of ancient Shu. The sea is not the sea of the ocean. The word "sea" should be a variant of the ancient Chinese character "Han", with similar pronunciation and stroke structure. The ancient Chinese character "Han" is a combination of "water+yellow", which is related to the Yellow Emperor. It is also recorded in Huayang Guozhi that "the Yellow Emperor made the whole world Hou Bo", and Hanzhong is in the geographical center of the Yellow Emperor, which means "within the Yellow Emperor". And Dayu belongs to the Huangdi family, Xiqiang Dayu. Therefore, ancient Shu is the successor of the Yellow Emperor.
In recent years, jade Zhang of Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties has been unearthed in various places. A map of the place where Zhang Yuzhang was unearthed also proved the existence of the "Yuzhang Dynasty" with Kyushu territory. The Xia and Shang Dynasties in the Central Plains cannot explain the jade Zhang unearthed in Vietnam, so this jade Zhang dynasty must be Sanxingdui.
3200 years ago, Sanxingdui moved to Jinsha, Zhou Xianzu moved to Qi, and the Sanxingdui dynasty disintegrated. The Sichuan Basin was divided into the south and the middle of Bashu Hanzhong, and the era of Shudu Dynasty ended.
The specific scope of ancient Shu, that is, the scope of "within the sea", needs to be deciphered after Shan Hai Jing.
