Efficacy indication
1. Dispelling wind and removing dampness is used for wind-cold-dampness arthralgia, especially for people with lower body rheumatism, waist and knee pain and foot paralysis who can't walk. It is often combined with Herba Taxilli, Radix Saposhnikoviae and Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, such as Duhuo Jisheng Decoction.
2. Relieving exterior syndrome and relieving pain is used for fever, headache, toothache and limb ache caused by wind, cold and dampness. It is often combined with Notopterygium root and Saposhnikovia root, such as Notopterygium root and dampness removing decoction.
In addition, it can also be used to treat shaoyin headache, toothache and skin itching.
Dosage and usage: 3 ~ 10g, decocted in water.
Taboo: it is forbidden for those with yin deficiency and excessive fire.
It is said that it is mainly used for arthralgia due to wind-cold and dampness, and it is especially suitable for arthralgia below the waist because of its downward trend.
Identification of similar drugs Both Radix Angelicae Pubescentis and Notopterygii Rhizoma have the effects of expelling wind, relieving exterior syndrome and removing dampness, and they are often used in combination. However, Notopterygii Rhizoma is strong in relieving exterior syndrome and good at treating upper limb arthralgia, so headache must be treated. Living alone can relieve external symptoms and lower body pain.
Both Radix Angelicae Pubescentis and Asari entered the liver and kidney meridians to treat rheumatic arthralgia, but Asari entered the blood to open nine orifices, and Radix Angelicae Pubescentis entered the circulation of qi to treat toothache.
