Bailudong Academy.

Bailudong Academy is located in Wulaofeng, Lushan Mountain, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Built in Zhenyuan period of Tang Dynasty, Zhu Zeng, a famous scholar in Southern Song Dynasty, gave lectures here. By the end of Yuan Dynasty, the academy was destroyed by war, and a large-scale maintenance was carried out in the first year of Ming Dynasty (1436). In the 24th year of Guangxu reign, Bailudong Academy was renamed as a school, and it was closed in the 29th year. From 65438 to 0988, Bailudong Academy was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Bailudong Academy is one of the four major academies in China, and enjoys the same fame as Yingtian Academy, Chongyang Academy and Yuelu Academy. One of the most famous is Yuelu Academy in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Yuelu Academy, founded in 976, is the predecessor of Hunan University.
