Title: Insects and Cicada

Author: fabrice method.

Main content: Fabres, an entomologist, used his spare time to observe the habits of insects in detail and truly, and wrote this rare book. This paper describes the petite and lovely cicada concisely, and tells us the true story of cicada through the fable of cicada ant, the relationship between cicada ant and the process of cicada coming out of the hole.

Good sentences and good paragraphs:

When winter comes, ants move wet food to the sun to dry. Suddenly, a hungry cicada jumped up and begged.

Every summer, they are attracted by two tall French phoenix trees and fly to my house by hundreds to settle down. From sunrise to sunset, they kept barking.

There was a fire in July, which was unbearable in the afternoon. Swarms of insects are thirsty, crawling around withered flowers, looking for some water to quench their thirst. On the other hand, cicadas are dismissive of the general shortage of water resources. It uses its narrow mouth like a drill bit to drill around in its never-drying wine cellar. It kept singing, landed on a twig and drilled through the hard and smooth bark that was soaked with juice by the sun. After it inserted the straw into the borehole, it was immersed in the sweetness of juice and singing, absorbed and flattered.

Ants are rude and never flinch when robbing. Cicada is a skillful craftsman and is willing to share nectar with the victims.

Gains and feelings: Entomology is really a refreshing book. Besides teaching carefully, the author also studies insects in his spare time. This vivid and detailed description of cicadas gives people who hate cicadas a new understanding of cicadas. In fables, people mistakenly think that they only love singing and don't think about the future. When the cold comes, cicadas will always be frozen and hungry. In fact, there are no more cicadas in winter. In the fable story, ants dressed as hardworking housewives, with bags of wheat beside them, disdained a hungry cicada, and cicadas were ignored by ants.

In reality, the relationship between ants and cicadas is just the opposite of fables. Cicada can live well without other people's help. When ants are really hungry, they will run to pray for cicadas. When the cicada sucks juice in the well, ants crawl on the cicada's back like robbers, grabbing the cicada's tentacles and biting the cicada's straw. They are rude and rob foragers instead of cicadas. Cicada's life is exhausted, and when it falls from the tree, ants flock to it, pulling it from all directions, tearing it, dismembering it, rotting it, and moving it into its own food pile. We can easily see the relationship between these two insects. Should we rehabilitate cicadas? After reading this article, I not only gained a lot of knowledge about insects, but also realized the author's tireless spirit of seeking truth.

Mom's words: The Insect Story is really an interesting book for all ages! The book describes the life habits of insects, which is authentic and the author's spirit is touching!
