Cultural relics of Shangqiu Museum

The museum has a collection of nearly 20,000 cultural relics, most of which were unearthed from field archaeological excavations or collected by people in this area. Its main collections are bronzes, jades, pottery figurines, gold-plated silver chariots and horses unearthed from Liangyuan Tomb Area in the Western Han Dynasty. The collection of stone carvings of portraits of the Eastern Han Dynasty has a wide range of themes, mature carving techniques and lifelike figures and animals.

The stone building of "Baguanting" in the collection is one of the important book traces of Yan Zhenqing in his later years in the Tang Dynasty.
