Biography of the Green Pearl is an anecdote novel and a music history of the Song Dynasty. Based on the great turmoil in the late Western Jin Dynasty, it describes Shi Chong's favorite green pearl "beautiful and gorgeous", which is good at playing flute and singing and dancing. Shi Chong bought it as a "three-welcoming pearl" and put it in Jingu Garden Pavilion. When Sun Xiu, the powerful minister, knew about it, he sent someone to ask Shi Chong for the green pearl, but it was rejected. Later, Sun Xiu framed Shi Chong in front of Zhao Wang Sima Lun, which led to the genocide of Shi Chong. When Shi Chong was arrested, Lvzhu committed suicide by jumping off a building. The history of music wrote this novel. One is to praise Lv Zhi's chastity and integrity, so as to set off those villains who enjoy wealth, steal high positions but chop and change, and forget benevolence and righteousness repeatedly; The second is to expose the moral decay, debauchery and cruelty of Shi Chong, Sun Xiu and other upper-class nobles. The author thinks that Shi Chong's murder and Sun Xiu's dismemberment by the sergeant are God's revenge for their evil deeds, and Green Pearl only accelerates this revenge. In fact, the green pearl in the novel is only the victim of luxury and competition among nobles, which reflects the tragic fate of women's low status and being trampled upon in the old society. The Biography of the Green Pearl has a volume of 1, including 40 novels and books.
