Xihai Wetland Park is located in the West Sea of Xishihai, Deshengmen, Beijing, the core area of the capital. Surrounded by Huitong Temple, Sanguan Temple, Ye Jing Temple, Fosaiji, Deshengmen Arched Tower and other historical sites. Shichahai West Sea is commonly known as "Jishuitan". Xihai Wetland Park covers an area of 10.9 hectares, including 7.4 hectares of water area and 3.5 hectares of surrounding green space. Nearly 20,000 square meters of aquatic plants have been planted in Xihai Wetland Park, and more than 700 trees and shrubs such as weeping willows, peaches and Chinese pine have been planted beside the water. In order to facilitate the public to visit, dozens of seats have been set up around the lake, and intelligent lampposts have been built to enhance lighting. In the Wetland Park, a 50-meter-long pontoon bridge connects the northern and western edges of the West Sea, which not only runs through the entire Shichahai Lake trail, but also provides a viewing platform for the West Sea Wetland Park. Now citizens can save at least 1 km by walking to the lake, making it more convenient to pass.
