1. Recite skillfully
What we often do in Chinese learning is to recite the text. Sometimes the teacher may ask us to recite the text before we know the main idea of the article. In fact, some paragraphs may be difficult to understand at that time, but with the deepening of later experience, we will gradually understand them, so we don't need to understand them at once, we can recite them first.
I recite more, and when I use it slowly in the future, I will gradually deepen my understanding of its meaning. The same is true of classical Chinese. It's too difficult to understand at once. After all, we are too far away from the ancients to understand the living environment of people at that time. We should believe that we have a lot to recite now, which will become a great wealth of knowledge in the future.
build up one's vocabulary
If we want to learn classical Chinese well, we need to accumulate vocabulary, just like we learn English. Only by accumulating a certain vocabulary can we not be too worried when we encounter classical Chinese questions in the exam.
We don't need to remember these things. We need to combine the environment to understand the meaning of words. If you leave the environment of words, it is meaningless to understand words. Only when it is used in the text context at that time can it really express its meaning.
We should take notes. A word will have different meanings when combined with different environments, which requires us to master the different environments where a word is polysemous. Gradually accumulated, we can use vocabulary flexibly.
3. Pay attention to induction
We know that many words in classical Chinese are very different from their present meanings and usages, and we need to summarize them. For example, polysemy, ancient and modern different meanings, interchangeable words and so on. The usage and use of these words need us to make a summary. There are some common sentence patterns that we can't ignore. Only by mastering these laws can we skillfully use classical Chinese.
The study of classical Chinese is a process of repeated recitation, accumulation and summary, and flexible application. As long as you persist for a long time, you will certainly learn classical Chinese well.
