Who compiled The Book of Songs?

In recent years, scholars have raised various questions about Confucius' deletion of poems. We assume that The Book of Songs was edited and adapted by Confucius. The Book of Songs is a collection of poems, and the author is difficult to test. It can only be inferred that it was from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the mid-Spring and Autumn Period. The Book of Songs is divided into three parts: style, elegance and ode. Most of the wind is collected from the people, and most of the authors of Yasong are aristocratic doctors. The rulers of the Zhou Dynasty often sent poets to collect folk poems, which were then arranged by musicians and presented to the emperor. Of course, some scholars wrote it and dedicated it to the son of heaven. On the one hand, the emperor collected poems for entertainment and used them as teaching materials for educating his children. On the other hand, it is to understand the people's reaction and examine its political effect in order to further consolidate its rule. Confucius used the Book of Songs as a teaching material to educate students and also emphasized its political role.
