Gan De, also known as Gan Gong, was a native of Qi during the Warring States Period; Stone God, also known as Stone God House or Stone God House, was in wei ren during the Warring States Period. They systematically observed the movements of five planets, namely, gold, wood, water, fire and earth, and preliminarily grasped the laws of these planets, and recorded the names of 800 stars, among which the orientation of 12 1 star was determined. Gander wrote eight volumes of Tian Wen Star Wars and Shi Shen wrote eight volumes of Astronomy. Later generations combined these two works into one, which is called Shi Gan Jing.
Shi Gan Xing Jing is the earliest astronomical work in China and even in the world, but it was lost after the Song Dynasty. Later generations can only see some excerpts from the astronomical work Kaiyuan Zhan Jing in the Tang Dynasty. Many astronomers in later generations will use some data in the Shigan Star Classic when measuring the position and movement of the sun, moon and planets. Therefore, Shi Gan Xing Jing occupies an important position in the history of astronomy in China and the world.
