1983 Since its establishment in March, Chizhou University Library, under the leadership of the Provincial Department of Education and the Party Committee of the school, has strengthened the software and hardware construction of the library, given full play to the role of the school library in teaching and scientific research, provided thoughtful and convenient services for the teachers and students of the school, and made great contributions to the improvement of the teaching quality and scientific research level of the school and the all-round development of the professional quality and comprehensive quality of all students and readers. The existing building area of the library is about 1.95 million square meters. By June 30th, 20 14, the library had 820,000 paper books, 750,000 e-books, 80,000 Chinese and foreign electronic periodicals, and more than 80,000 Chinese and foreign paper periodicals, and established information exchange relations with more than 50 university libraries and academic institutions at home and abroad, which basically met the demand of teachers and students for literature resources.
