Surprisingly, these famous people all have the same teacher, that is, the mysterious Guiguzi in the history of China, and he is known as the "famous teacher who trained the most outstanding talents" in history.
Guiguzi is equal to Confucius and Mencius in history. He initiated the study of Lian Heng, was the originator of military strategists' thoughts, and contributed to the progress of China's history. However, Guiguzi's reputation has been ringing for thousands of years, but no one knows his date of birth and death, and no one can tell his life story clearly, let alone where he comes from. Some people even think that Guiguzi does not exist.
It is said that Guiguzi is called Wang Xu, or Wang Li, or Wang Chan, also called Xuanweizi. Legend has it that Guiguzi is a singer and his mother is a colorful star in heaven. She got pregnant after eating Gucci and gave birth to him. Because he often went to Yunmeng Mountain to collect medicine and cultivate monks, he lived in the Guigu of Qingxi in Zhouyang all the year round, so he called himself "Mr. Guigu". Guiguzi is well-read and familiar with astrology and six towers. He has profound attainments in many fields such as medicine, politics, architecture, diplomacy and military affairs, and later wrote Guiguzi.
Such a figure seems too absurd, so is there such a person as Guiguzi in history? At present, there are three kinds of statements!
I. Existence Sima Qian wrote in Historical Records: Su Qin is also a human being, and he traveled to Qi to learn from Mr. Guigu. You know, Sima Qian's Biography of Historical Records of Su Qin has a high status in terms of historical position and academic value, and Gui Guzi, the teacher of Zhang Yi, also mentioned it in Biography of Zhang Yi. Sima Qian is rigorous in his studies and doesn't know hearsay. He lived in the Western Han Dynasty, not far from Guiguzi's life, but closer to Zhang Yi's life in Su Qin. According to Sima Qian, Guiguzi is real.
At the same time, Western Han scholars Liu Xiang and Yang Xiong also confirmed Sima Qian's statement in ancient books, and this conclusion has also been confirmed in recent years. According to the ancient records such as Notes on Guiguzi and Lu Yi Ji, Guiguzi's hometown should meet three conditions: there is a "Guiguzi" in the place name, which belongs to "Chu" and should be beside the Hanshui River, and only Shiquan meets these three conditions.
Having a former residence is equivalent to having "Guiguzi", which is in line with Sima Qian's point of view, but many scholars believe that Guiguzi does not exist.
Second, no one put forward the view that there is no guiguzi in the world. First of all, we must refute Sima Qian's claim that there are guiguzi. Huang, an educator of modern history, put forward in the "Make-up Examination of Ancient and Modern Fake Books": History remembers that hearsay is not enough, and people have no permission to write a book? Huang believes that many of the contents in Sima Qian's Historical Records are based on folk rumors and have little factual basis. When Sima Qian was writing Historical Records of Su Qin, in order to increase the academic mystery of Su Qin, he specially arranged an inscrutable mysterious teacher to emphasize Su Qin's profound knowledge. On Zhang Yi, who was a little later than Su Qin, Sima Qian used this method again, and those celebrities at the end of the Warring States period said that the teacher was a guiguzi. Guiguzi is regarded as a legend or even a fairy in religious dictionaries, immortal notes and other books.
Third, yes, but not alone. In addition to the above two views, there is another saying that Guiguzi is not a person, but many people.
People who hold this view feel that Guiguzi is not a single individual, but a sect or the leader of a sect. The mode of this school is similar to Mohism, which is a very mysterious school in ancient China. This school has a detailed division of labor and strict discipline. Mohist members are called "Mohists" and Mohist leaders are called "giants", and subordinates must unconditionally obey the orders of their superiors.
The leader of the school established in this place called Guiguzi. Guiguzi, like the giant of Mohism, is passed down from generation to generation, which can also explain why the age span of people who learn Guiguzi is so huge. From Su Qin and Zhang Yi in the middle of the Warring States Period to Reese and Han Fei in the late Warring States Period, and even Cai Yong in the Han Dynasty, these people were actually studying in Guigu, but they were just the leaders of the Guigu School. In fact, many people have changed.
It is concluded that since Zheng destroyed the six countries and unified China, the most proud skill of Guigu School has gradually lost its position. When Dong Zhongshu "ousted a hundred schools and respected Confucianism" in the Western Han Dynasty, the skill of Lianheng completely withdrew from the historical stage, and Guigu School has since declined.
