He was admitted to the Chinese Department of Lanzhou University and graduated from1August, 959. He was assigned to teach in tianshui normal university (now tianshui normal university). Currently, he is a professor of Chinese Department of the Institute, a director of Dunhuang Turpan Society in China, a part-time researcher of Dunhuang Research Institute, and a vice president of Dunhuang Society in Gansu. Zhang Hongxun began to collect and study scripts and novels of the Song and Yuan Dynasties in the Ming Dynasty when he was in college. 1958 published the paper "On the Author, Time and Materials of Jin Pingmei" for the first time in the Sixth Series of Literary Heritage Supplement (published by Writers Publishing House). At the same time, he began to study the history of Dunhuang rap literature. Unfortunately, due to the influence of the "Cultural Revolution", this research was interrupted until the 1980s after the downfall of the Gang of Four. Since 1980 "On Dunhuang Folk Words and Story Fu" was published in the first issue of Gansu Social Sciences, dozens of Dunhuang literature research papers have been published in relevant professional journals or collections, and five monographs have been published in Taiwan Province Province, winning many awards for outstanding papers in Gansu Social Sciences and social science achievement awards of Gansu University. Zhang Hongxun's research on Dunhuang literature mainly focuses on popular literature, which he believes is the most important and valuable part of the existing Dunhuang literature. The discussion of them, whether it is a macro study or an analysis of specific works, should be placed in the historical background of the overall development of China literature and viewed from a macro perspective, so as to grasp their significance and value from a strategic perspective. His Dunhuang Folk Fu (Tea and Wine), Strange Tales (published in Dunhuang StudiesNo. 1989No. 1No.) and Dunhuang Quzi (Unknown) (published in Dunhuang StudiesNo. 1992 No.6544 Its special geographical location and historical environment, as well as the influence of neighboring ethnic minorities and foreign Buddhist culture, have formed some unique personalities different from the mainstream literature in the Central Plains. Textual research on Ye Jingneng's Dunhuang dialect poems (included in Dunhuang Studies, Gansu People's Publishing House, 1985), Re-exploration of Dunhuang dialects (Ye Jingneng's poems) (included in the Proceedings of the Second International Academic Conference of Tang Dynasty, Jinwen Publishing House of Taiwan Province, 1993), Dunhuang dialects 200 1), "A New Exploration of Dunhuang Manuscripts (Xiapi Fu Ci)" (included in 1983 National Dunhuang Academic Symposium, Volume II, Gansu People's Publishing House, 1987), etc. From the perspectives of Buddhism, Taoism and folklore, this paper studies their backgrounds and origins. Zhang Hongxun has the courage to explore and demonstrate Dunhuang literature, especially in Dunhuang rap literature, and has made many achievements. Although his Selected Notes on Dunhuang Singing and Speaking Literary Works (Gansu People's Publishing House, 1987) has some shortcomings in annotations, it is the first popular annotation of this kind of works in Dunhuang academic circles at home and abroad, and won the second prize of the annual achievement of philosophy and social sciences in Gansu universities 1979- 1989. An Introduction to Dunhuang Stories, Ci Poems and Folk Fu (Jinwen Publishing House, 1993), written for An Introduction to Dunhuang Studies in Taiwan Province, is the first monograph in Dunhuang academic circles to systematically and comprehensively discuss these three types of Dunhuang folk literature, which has never been involved by predecessors and has considerable pioneering significance. Won the first prize of social achievements in Gansu Province from 65438 to 0994. 1982 published in the second issue of Literary Heritage, A Preliminary Study on the System and Types of Dunhuang Rap Literature and An Introduction to Dunhuang Rap Literature (Jinwen Publishing House, 1993) were included in the second episode of Taiwan Province Dunhuang Series, which reclassified the past as "common saying" and "different writing". It also gives a brief and comprehensive discussion on various types of system features, origin and evolution, performance venues, performers, performance scripts, singing parts, performance ceremonies, etc., analyzes some outstanding works, and discusses their theme selection, story writing, ideological tendency, characters, language art, and influence on future generations, which has been rated as "more dialectical, practical and prudent" by peer experts (see Lin Jiaping and others) Zheng Acai, a famous Dunhuang scholar in Taiwan Province, also said in "Review and Prospect of Dunhuang Studies in the Twentieth Century-Chinese mainland": "Exploring the concept of Dunhuang Bianwen has a great influence on Zhang Hongxun's preliminary study of the system and types of Dunhuang singing." (See Sinology Research Newsletter, Volume 19, No.2 [No.74], May 2000) Zhang Hongxun was hired as a librarian of the Provincial Literature and History Research Institute in 1999.
