How many binding lines should I leave?

There must be no metal objects in the case file, with three holes and one line, the hole spacing is 5mm, and the binding line is 1.25- 1.5mm away from the paper edge.

Files composed of text (or table) materials are generally bound by the method of three holes and one line, and the binding is on the left side and behind the file. Three holes and one line binding, the total length of hole spacing is about 140 ~ 160mm, the length from middle hole to side hole is 70 ~ 80mm, and the vertical distance of binding line is 15 ~ 20mm. All the bindings are on the left, and the joints are at the back of the file.

Set the top and bottom ends of the file to 2.54cm, and the left and right margins to 3. 17cm. Margin refers to the distance between the top, bottom, left and right edges of document content and the top, bottom, left and right edges of paper. Under special circumstances, you can modify the margins as needed, or add extra space in the margins to leave a binding position.

For some official documents and test papers, it is sometimes necessary to set binding lines for them. Follow this method again, add other information and move it to the desired location.

Pay attention to the binding line. I suggest that before writing a paper, it is best to set the page layout and style, then edit the full text, then set the header and footer, and finally add the table of contents. Otherwise, if the full text is arranged, we will have to adjust the page layout later, and the mess of typesetting is self-evident. The most commonly used settings in page setup are the settings of margins, binding lines and paper size.
