Qingquan Temple

Qingquan Temple, founded in the Tang Dynasty, is a famous Millennium temple in eastern Hubei. According to Xishui County Records: "There is Qingquan Temple in the east of the city. In the sixth year of Tang Zhenyuan, he dug the ground and got a well, which was bitter and sweet, so it was named the famous temple. " There is a river flowing from east to west in front of the temple, surrounded by mountains, jungles, gurgling springs and Sanskrit sounds, which is a rare land of geomantic omen. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Xu Shouhui, the leader of the peasant uprising, destroyed the temple to build the capital, and rebuilt Qingquan Temple in the Ming Dynasty, which was also rebuilt in the late Qing Dynasty. After the Anti-Japanese War, Qingquan Temple became a simple normal school in Xishui. During the Cultural Revolution 1967 was destroyed. For thousands of years, Qingquan Temple has attracted scholars of all ages, leaving many well-known poems, such as Liu Yuxi's A Visit to Qingquan Temple, Su Dongpo's A Visit to Huanxisha Qingquan Temple and so on.

Wen Yiduo Memorial Hall

The main project is located in the site of Qingquan Temple, which is a quadrangle-style antique building complex. Backed by Fengqi Mountain, facing Xishui River in front, with white walls and tiles, it is strewn at random and high, and it is simple and elegant in the embrace of green mountains and green waters. Wen Yiduo (1899— 1946), formerly known as Wen Jiahua, was born in Xishui, Hubei. /kloc-was admitted to Beijing Tsinghua University at the age of 0/3, went to the United States to study literature and art at the age of 23, and taught in many universities after returning home. He is healthy and upright. He lived for eight years during the Anti-Japanese War and was assassinated in Kunming in the summer of 1946. In front of the memorial hall, on the shiny granite pedestal, a bronze statue of Wen Yiduo holds his head high and holds a scepter, which reproduces the elegance of this famous poet, scholar and democracy fighter. In the preface hall of the memorial hall, the magnificent huge mural "Red Candle Overture" and the white marble tablet without words in front of it symbolize Wen Yiduo's "I love the firmness of white stone, pine and cypress" and his true character and lofty spiritual realm as an intellectual in China. There are also three exhibition halls in the memorial hall, which respectively display Wen Yiduo's new poems, new poetry theory, ancient literature, painting, calligraphy and seal cutting, representing his attainments and achievements in different periods and aspects. Confucius Temple, also known as Gong Xue, Confucius Temple and Confucianism. The Confucian Temple in Xishui County is located in Yanhe Street, Qingquan Town, with the south gate of Xishui River in the south and Confucianism Lane in the north, covering an area of 3,500 square meters. It is one of the rare ancient buildings in Hubei Province. Xishui Confucian Temple, founded in the Northern Song Dynasty, was destroyed by a weapon at the end of Yuan Dynasty. In the seventh year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1374), it was rebuilt on the old site, and later generations expanded it. On the north-south central axis, the Confucian temple buildings are Gate, Jimen, Dacheng Hall and Chongsheng Temple in turn. There are also Xiao Zhong Temple, Mingguan Temple, Jielie Temple, Xiangxian Temple, Zunjing Pavilion and Minglun Hall on both sides of the central axis. Now only Xingmen Temple, Dacheng Hall, Chongsheng Temple and Zunjing Pavilion are left. Dacheng Hall, located on the top of the mountain with double eaves, is the main building of Confucius Temple. Now located in the Confucian Temple, there are exhibition halls for cultural relics, Gu Shuhua and ancient ceramic art. More than 40,000 precious historical relics such as thread-bound books, rubbings and stone carvings. It is one of the seven museums in Hubei Province.
