Lu You was an outstanding patriotic poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. He is famous for his patriotic thoughts and outstanding poems. His Family Instructions for Leaving Weng was written in Dadao for four years (1 168) to warn future generations. Although the lifestyle advocated by Lu You in his book is mostly trivial matters of daily life, people should guard against and ponder over it, and many of them are still good words.
Lv Benzhong's Official Proverbs in the early years of Southern Song Dynasty is the accumulation of thoughts and experiences of officialdom cultural thinkers for thousands of years. There is only one volume in the book, which is concise, and each article is unprecedented and truly unique. The book sums up the three-character formula of the method of being an official: "clear, cautious and diligent", which is praised as "eternal" by later scholars and scholars, with far-reaching influence and widely quoted by later scholars and officials. Although "Official Proverbs" was written to punish officials and talked about the requirements of being an official, many of its ways of dealing with the world are also of reference significance to ordinary people.
