Introduction to Qingwei School

The Qingwei sect is one of the three branches of the Fulu sect. It began in the Southern Song Dynasty and spread from the Yuan Dynasty to the early Ming Dynasty. It was also inherited in the early Qing Dynasty. The sect claimed to be from Qingwei Tianyu, the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty, so it was named Qingwei. It is also said that after Yuanshi Tianzun spread the teachings, his religion evolved into four sects: Zhenyuan, Taihua, Guanling, and Zhengyi. By the time of the Tenth Anniversary, the four sects were merged into one by Zu Shuyuanjun, and the Qingwei sect was established. The Qingwei sect wrote Youdao methods, such as "Qingwei Yuanjiang Dafa", "Qingwei Shenlie Secret Method", "Qingwei Zhaifa", "Qingwei Danfa", "Qingwei Xuanshu Reporting Ceremony", etc. book. This sect focuses on the method of traveling thunder, focusing on the unity of heaven and man. It is based on internal training and supplemented by external methods. It is emphasized that only by being sincere in the middle can you feel it in heaven; only by cultivating it inwardly can it be sent out outwardly. It is still passed down at home and abroad to this day.
