The libraries in Beijing are as follows:
1. National Library of China
The National Library of China is located at No.33, South Street, Zhongguancun, Beijing, adjacent to the Gaoliang River and Zizhuyuan Park in Baishiqiao, Haidian District. It is the national general library, national bibliography center and national ancient book protection center; It is one of the largest and most advanced national libraries in the world. Selected as the third batch of China 2th century architectural heritage projects. On October 11, 218, it was selected into the list of "National Primary and Secondary School Students' Research and Practice Education Bases".
The National Library of China was formerly the Jingshi Library, which was established on September 9, 199. In 1931, Wenjin Street was completed (now the National Library Ancient Books Museum). After the founding of New China, it was renamed Beijing Library. In 1987, the new library was completed, and on December 12th, 1998, with the approval of the State Council, the Beijing Library was renamed as the National Library, which was called the National Library of China.
II. Peking University Library
Peking University University Library is one of the earliest modern new libraries in China, which was approved by the State Council as the first batch of national key ancient books protection units, and has developed into a research-oriented library with rich resources, modernization, comprehensiveness and openness.
Peking University Library was formerly the library building of Jingshi University Hall, which was established in 1898. After the Revolution of 1911, the library building of Jingshi University Hall was renamed Peking University Library. In 1952, Peking University Library merged with the former yenching university Library; In 2, Peking University merged with Beijing Medical University, and the former Beijing Medical University Library was renamed Peking University Medical Library.
III. Tsinghua University Library
Tsinghua University Library was approved by the State Council as the first batch of national key ancient books protection units, with the goal of building a research-oriented, digital, open and civilized modern library. Tsinghua University Library was founded in Tsinghua School in 1911, and was transformed into Tsinghua School in 1912, and the library of Tsinghua School was established.

IV. Library of Renmin University of China
The library of Renmin University of China was founded in 1937. The management center of the literature resource guarantee system (BALIS) of university libraries in Beijing and the Beijing center of the China Higher Education Literature Guarantee System (CALIS) are both located in this library, which is also an important hub for the enjoyment of higher education literature resources in Beijing and a library of China universities focusing on humanities and social sciences.
