Memories of the old scout.

Although the story of Scout was heard as early as the pre-Qin period, in order to commemorate his achievements, the construction of Scout Temple began in Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province, which is the ancient Yanzhou area. Namely:

Juyun: "Tonglu County is in Yanzhou, also known as it." (See the first article of "Jupingsheng", Volume 1, "East (Rhyme) Communication" photocopied by Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House according to the five-year edition of Fujian Avenue. )

Today, Yanzhou was called Zhou Mu in the Sui Dynasty. Its place name was established in the fourth year of Tang Wude (62 1). Yanzhou place names have been renamed many times in history. For example, during the Republic of China, it belonged to Jiande County, Zhejiang Province, and it was located in Xijiu Township, Tonglu County. According to the records and related materials in Tonglu County Annals (Tongwei Tonglu County Annals Volume 4 Magazine-like Temple, published in the 22nd year of Kangxi) and Zhejiang Tongzhi (Zhejiang Tongzhi Volume 67 Magazine Eleventh Five-Year Biography and Sikuquanshu), the Scout Temple has experienced a history of about 900 years since its establishment.

◆ 1 1 century: Yuanfengjian (1078 ~ 1085) was first built by Xu Youyi, the magistrate of Tonglu County, at the top of the scouting mountain in this county. At that time, there were two Jatropha curcas in the mountain bay. After the ancestral hall was completed, there were portraits of scouts in the hall, and there were some poems inscribed by celebrities, including the sentence "A hundred medicines in the mountain were recorded in the same year, and two tung trees were laid down"

◆12nd century:12nd century, when Sun Jingchu succeeded to Tonglu County, he changed the portrait of the scout in the temple into a statue and added some poems inscribed by celebrities. However, by the end of the Yuan Dynasty in the14th century, the Scout Temple was severely damaged by fire, and its old appearance no longer existed.

◆13rd century: In the Yuan Dynasty, Zhang Kejiu, the magistrate of Tonglu County, donated money to rebuild the Scout Temple again (Zhang Kejiu's rebuilding of the Scout Temple was praised by Xu Fang of the Ming Dynasty. For details, please refer to the section "Inscriptions of Poetry and Calligraphy" below.

◆14th century: After the founding of the Ming Dynasty, the Scout Temple was rebuilt in the middle and late14th century (that is, Hongwu period, 1368 ~ 1398), but on a smaller scale. At the end of 15 (that is, Chenghua room, 1465 ~ 1458), the temple was abandoned again.

◆ 65438+the beginning of the 6th century: 65438+the beginning of the 6th century (that is, the early year of Jiajing, 1522), Tonglu County ordered Zhang Ying to rebuild the former site of the Scout Temple on a large scale. After the completion of the temple, a big clock will be hung, and the bell will be rung regularly every morning and evening, presided over by Taoist priests. After so many years, the temple collapsed again.

◆ 65438+the late 6th century: 65438+the late 6th century (the fifth year of Wanli, 1577), the governor of Tonglu donated money for reconstruction.

◆17th century:1at the beginning of the 7th century (that is, thirty years of Wanli, 1602), Tonglu County ordered Yang Dong to donate money to rebuild it, and added a statue of Dai Qing, a famous local scholar at the end of Jin Dynasty, to the temple.

◆18th century: The Scout Temple was rebuilt again in about18th century (Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty), but it has not been recorded in local chronicles (according to Smart Tonglu by Shen Tu Dan Rong and others, published by Zhejiang People's Publishing House).

20th century: 1979 Scout was rebuilt once.

In order to publicize the history of collecting medicine and treating diseases, people in their hometown not only build ancestral temples, offer sacrifices to gods, but also use the word "He Tong" to name things in life.
