On September 26th, 20 19, the the State Council executive meeting approved the eighth batch of 762 national key cultural relics protection units, including ancient sites, ancient buildings, important historical sites in modern times and representative buildings. Song Xinchao, deputy director of National Cultural Heritage Administration, believes that this is a practical measure to strengthen the protection and utilization of cultural relics and the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage in China.
All localities and departments should further implement the working policy of "protection first, rescue first, rational utilization and strengthening management" in accordance with the requirements of People's Republic of China (PRC) Cultural Relics Protection Law and other laws and regulations and the State Council Guiding Opinions on Further Strengthening Cultural Relics Work (Guo Fa [20 16] 17). Realize inheritance and development in protection and utilization, conscientiously do a good job in the protection, management and utilization of national key cultural relics protection units, ensure the safety of cultural relics, especially the fire safety of cultural relics, strive to create a new situation in cultural relics work, embark on a road of cultural relics protection and utilization in line with national conditions, and make greater contributions to strengthening cultural self-confidence, realizing the goal of "two hundred years" and the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
With the increasing number of "national protection" units in China, more and more cultural relics have been announced as "national protection" units, including modern revolutionary cultural relics and industrial heritage. Therefore, in my opinion, some "legendary" tombs are of great historical significance and can be declared as "national security" units.
