The couplets of this poem describe plants and animals such as grass, heron, willow and warbler from a visual perspective. "Sanlian" is written from the perspective of hearing, describing the song the author heard by the lake and the flute he just played.
This poem expresses the poet's loneliness and unpretentious noble interest. This kind of interest is manifested incisively and vividly in the combination of "Yin Mo Wan, Happy Life" at the end.

Things on the lake
Author: Chen Qi? (Song)
The waves are bright and beautiful, and the short green shoes are faithful.
Tobacco stays in the distance to identify herons, and wicker stays in spring without orioles.
Who drinks a song at the beginning of class, and another guest will play the flute.
The scenery is endless, and you will be intoxicated.
Translation:
The water is clear, and the poet walks along the river in sandals. Wicker saw the egrets sprouting on the grass in the distance, and could not hide the warbler.
I don't know who is drinking, singing and music. This is a lonely ship with distant guests and flutes. The scenery here is very beautiful. You'd better drink some wine and enjoy the rest of your life.
