Brief introduction of Wu Mengfu
Mr Wu Mengfu (1919-1995) is a contemporary archaeologist and a researcher of classical literature. Formerly known as Chang Dao, the word Bolu, the name Xixian, the pen name Luo Shan, a native of Guwei Township, Lujiang County, Anhui Province. Anhui Provincial Standing Committee of China Revolutionary Committee. In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), he graduated from Wuxi Sinology School. After 1937, he served as an associate professor of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law and Jinan University, and was edited by Shanghai Ancient Cultural Relics Management Committee. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as the president, professor, deputy director of the library, director and professor of the ancient books research office of Anhui Normal University (now Hefei Normal University). Vice Chairman of Anhui Social Science Federation, Executive Director of Anhui Language Society, Literature Society, Archaeology Society and Poetry Society. His main works are: General Theory of Exegetics, Reading and Arrangement of Ancient Books, Overview of Eight Masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, and Appreciation Dictionary of Song Ci (co-author). At the same time, the book Continued Classics edited by Ren Zong was recently published by Anhui Education Publishing House.
