Jiang Ruzao's resume

Jiang Ruzao (1877— 1954) was born in Nanxun, Xing Wu (now Huzhou). He served as a juror in the 29th year of Guangxu reign (1903). He used to be a doctor in the general affairs department of the college. Participated in the Revolution of 1911, served as the first director of salt administration of Zhejiang Military and Political Government and the chairman of Zhejiang Railway Company, and later specialized in industry.

Jiang family is a famous family of libraries. There are four libraries in Wuxing, including Miyun Building, Luxinyuan Songyilou, Liuchenggan Family Business Hall and Zhangjunheng Teachers College. Grandfather Jiang, uncle Jiang and father Jiang are all famous for their books. Children inherit family knowledge and can distinguish the authenticity of ancient books. He has been an official in Beijing for a long time and a guest in Shanghai, and has traveled all over the major cities in the north, south and north. And Cao, Shen, Wang Guowei, Fu Zengxiang, Luo Zhenyu and other famous artists visited the collections of many bibliophiles, such as "Tianyi Pavilion" and "Bookstore". At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, famous bibliophiles such as Fan in Ningbo, Wang in Hangzhou, Liu in Taizhou, Hong in Jingxian and Chen in Guiyang were scattered, and most of them were acquired by Jiang Ruzao. It is more powerful to search for the suicide note scattered by the ancestral family. All the old houses, old books and old paintings were bought at high prices. Build the library into a "library". Shen called it a "demon book" and named his library "Miyun Building" because he got the Song version of "Grass Window Rhyme", which is rare. There are 83 kinds of old periodicals in the Song Dynasty, 863 kinds of Yuan periodicals 102 and 863 kinds of Ming periodicals in Miyun Building. The treasure of the town hall is the out-of-print book "The Rhyme of Grass Window" published in Song Dynasty, which was bought at a high price by 1500 yuan. Wang Guowei of Haining was asked to compile 20 volumes of Miyun Lou Ji (unpublished). There are more than 5,000 books and 2,667 rare books, including 563 books in Song Dynasty, 2,097 books in Yuan Dynasty, 6,753 books in Ming Dynasty, 3,808 books and 20 books in Yongle Grand Ceremony.

Another rare bibliography of Chuanshutang has 7 volumes of 12, and Qu Fengqi, a neighbor, has the postscript of Miyun House Collection. Its collection is printed as Meng Pingji, Miyun Building and the home of seven volumes of rams. Due to the war and business failure, the books were forced to be pawned by Zhejiang Industrial Bank, and were purchased by Pan, Liu Tizhi and Zheng Zhenduo respectively. Most of them belong to the Hanfen Museum of the Commercial Press, and most of the books in the Hanfen Museum are collected by Jiang Library. Another Ming edition was sold in Beijing Library, and Zhonghua Book Company Library sold more than 50,000 copies.
