China's classic interpretation of the second season

The second season of "China in Classics" premiered on CCTV comprehensive channel at 8: 00 pm on September 24th, and CCTV video, CCTV.com and other new media platforms were launched simultaneously. This season's program focuses on classic books such as Yongle Dadian, Hanshu, Book of Rites, The Book of Songs, The Book of Qi Yaomin and Shuowen Jiezi.

In the second season, we will focus on introducing classic works such as Yongle Dadian, Hanshu and Book of Rites. On the basis of the innovative experience in the first season, we use brand-new technology to open the classics from a brand-new perspective in a broader space-time dimension, and show the wisdom of China, the spirit of China and the value of China contained in the classics.

Sa Beining, a contemporary scholar, will talk to Ban Zhao, the first female historian in China to compile official history, and discuss the writing story of Hanshu, China's first biographical chronology.

In the program, the host Wang Jianing will read Hanshu with three readers: Meng Man, a professor at the School of History and Culture of Minzu University of China; Xu Diancai, a professor at the Institute of History of the School of History of Beijing Normal University; and Zhang Xin, deputy editor of the Institute of Ancient History of China Academy of Social Sciences.

For the first time, the program will take Ban Zhao as the main line, connecting the ups and downs of two generations and four people around Hanshu, and the story of Ban Zhao's growth from an ignorant girl to a great man, showing the sense of responsibility and mission handed down from generation to generation by China historians.

Recently, a symposium on the creation of "Decoding Ten Years" reported by large-scale media of Radio and Television General Station was held in Beijing. Ten-year decoding premiered on August 9, *** 13 episodes.
