A flash in the pan, people use a flash in the pan to describe the impermanence of good things. Because the epiphyllum is too short to bloom, and it is at night, I missed it if I was not careful. Therefore, a flash in the pan is just a flash in the pan and will soon dissipate.
A short-lived legend
According to legend, Epiphyllum was originally a flower god, but she fell in love with the young people who watered and weeded her every day. When the Jade Emperor learned about it, he reduced the flower god to an epiphyllum that can only bloom for a while every year, and sent the young man to become a monk, named him Wei Tuo, to make him forget the past and forget the flower god.
Later, Wei Tuo really forgot the flower god, devoted himself to studying Buddhism, and gradually achieved something, but the flower god could not forget Wei Tuo. She knew that every year at the end of spring, Wei Tuo would go down the mountain to collect dew and make tea for the Buddha. So the epiphyllum bloomed at that time, hoping that Wei Tuo would remember her. However, after thousands of years, Wei Tuo went down the mountain every year, and Epiphyllum bloomed silently every year. Wei Tuo no longer remembers her.
As a result, it was a flash in the pan, only for Wei Tuo. So Epiphyllum is also called Wei Huatuo. Also because epiphyllum is not seen until after sunset in Wei Tuo, it is open at night.
Epiphyllum II
Once upon a time, in the Baihua Garden, there were all kinds of lovely flowers, and Epiphyllum was one of them. Epiphyllum is not as beautiful as other flowers, and no one has ever turned their eyes to ordinary epiphyllum.
Until one day, an artist appeared. He walked into the garden with a warm smile like spring and into the world of epiphyllum. She is always waiting for him.
However, Epiphyllum found the faint sadness and nonchalant sigh between his eyebrows and wanted to help him. ? Later, Epiphyllum knew that he was the best painter in this kingdom, and the queen asked him to draw the most beautiful flowers in the world that she had never seen before. If he can't do it, he will be put to death. The queen is jealous and will destroy these flowers. Seeing that the deadline is coming, the epiphyllum prays for the fairies to get the most beautiful appearance, but it can only bloom once.
In the evening, he came to see her again, trying to keep her firmly in mind and accept his fate of death. Epiphyllum wants to save him, so it opens with a smile, beautiful and bleak, enough to make flowers wither. But the epiphyllum also died slowly, leaving only darkness. From then on, the "short-lived" legend is like a never-ending swan song, which has been passed down from ancient times to the present.
