The Classic of Mountains and Seas is a geographical masterpiece with rich content and unique style in ancient China, including history, geography, nationality, myth, religion, biology, water conservancy, minerals, medicine and so on. Together with the Book of Changes, it is called the two geographical wonders in the history of China. There are different opinions about the author and the date of completion of Shan Hai Jing. The Book of Mountains and Seas, written in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was thought to be written by Tang Shiyu and Yi. However, according to the Records of Mountains and Seas in the Northern Qi Dynasty, there were Changsha, Lingling, Guiyang, Zhuji and other places after the Qin and Han Dynasties, which were not considered easily. Since its compilation, Shan Hai Jing has been misunderstood and regarded as absurd because of its peculiar content. As a novel, it was abandoned for a long time and did not attract enough attention, so that it was lost a lot. There are 39 existing biographies of Shan Hai Jing 18 volumes, among which there are 5 volumes of mountain scenery, including Nanshan Jing, Beishan Jing, Dongshan Jing, Zhongshan Jing, Hainei Jing, Overseas Jing and Yejing. Among them, the Five Tibetan Classics is the most simple, elegant and geographically valuable part of the book, which mainly describes the mountains and rivers in various places.
