Is the raw material of Yushanzi of Emperor Qianlong produced in lantian jade?

Lantian jade is one of the four famous jade in China (the others are Hetian jade in Xinjiang, dushan jade in Henan, xiuyan jade in Liaoning), and it is known as "Jade Planting Lantian", which was developed and utilized as early as the Neolithic Age.

There are records of beautiful jade produced in Lantian in ancient books. "History of Han Geography" said: "Meiyu is produced in Lantian, and there is a temple in Huhoushan, which is also in Qin Xiaogong." Later, there were records of Lantian's jade production in ancient books such as Biography of consorts in the Later Han Dynasty, Xijing Fu, Guangya, Notes on Water Mirrors and Yuanhe County Records. In April of the 17th year of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty, lantian jade Mountain was hit by an earthquake, and "the mountain was destroyed by more than 100 steps". The jade mine collapsed, and all the jade seedlings were hidden. Since then, the ancient lantian jade in its heyday has disappeared for nearly a thousand years.

The primary jade deposit in ancient lantian jade has not been discovered. The lantian jade mine mined today is located in Hongmensi Village, Yuchuan Town, Lantian County, about 35 kilometers away from the county seat. The ore-bearing rocks are Archean biotite schist and amphibole gneiss. Jade is fine-grained marble, mainly composed of calcite. According to the mineral composition and appearance characteristics, jade can be divided into five types: the first is white marble; The second is light beige serpentine marble; The third is yellow serpentine marble; The fourth is apple serpentine marble; The fifth type is banded tremolite serpentine marble.
