Yangzhou University Library is located in a famous historical and cultural city with beautiful scenery and rich humanities. It is a national key protection unit of ancient books and a key protection unit of ancient books in Jiangsu Province. It is the document center of the Sci-tech Novelty Retrieval Workstation of the Ministry of Education, the "National Patent Document Service Network" of China National Intellectual Property Administration and the document information guarantee system of universities in Jiangsu Province.
Yangzhou University Intellectual Property Information Service Center, affiliated to the library, was rated as "National Intellectual Property Information Service Center for Colleges and Universities" by China National Intellectual Property Administration and the Ministry of Education, and "Jiangsu Intellectual Property Information Service Network" recognized by Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office.
Yangzhou University Library consists of Lotus Pond Campus Book Center (Shaw Hall), Slender West Lake Campus Book Center (Wen Jing Hall), Yangzijiang Campus Book Center (Zhaowen Hall) and Jiangyang Road Campus Book Center (Zhongxiu Hall), with offices, document resources construction department, ancient books collection department, system and digitization department, sci-tech novelty retrieval workstation, information consultation and teaching research department, reader work department and other institutions.
