There are many branches of Yi people in Daliangshan. Jike family, as the origin of many branches, was born in Longtoushan. This clan migrated from Zhaotong, Yunnan, formed the context of the Yi people in Daliangshan today, and they are the basis of creation.
Liangshan Yi people migrated from Yunnan all the way more than 2000 years ago, crossed Jinsha River from northeast Yunnan, and then came to Ningmu Gumo as descendants of Guhou and Qu Nie respectively. After Ningmu and Gu Mo exchanged vows, the descendants of Guhou and Qu Nie migrated and swam in the fixed direction agreed by them, and continued to look for their ideal residence.
After a long, long historical period, the residential pattern of Liangshan Yi people with large concentration and small dispersion was finally formed.
