Which dynasty was Qin Shihuang?

Qin Shihuang is the Qin Dynasty.

The title of Qin Dynasty comes from place names. According to Records of the Historian, the ancestors of the Qin Dynasty were sages Hao Tao and Boming (Boyi), and Fei Da, the ancestor of the Qin people, was a descendant of Zhuan Xu, the grandson of the Yellow Emperor, and was given the surname Won.

During the Qin dynasty, the official system was adjusted and expanded, and a new set of government institutions was established. In this institution, the central government has the prime minister Qiu and the physician. The Prime Minister has two members, left and right, who are in charge of political affairs. Qiu is in charge of the military and doesn't often buy it. The Imperial Scholar is the second deputy of the Prime Minister, in charge of the library secretary and supervising officials. Under the prime minister Qiu and the imperial envoys, the ministers in charge of specific government affairs, the official system and administrative organization from the central to the local, that is, the system of three public officials and nine officials, are not related to each other, and the emperor has the final decision.

Unified measurement

In the Qin Dynasty, the standards of weights and measures formulated by Shang Yang were used to unify the weights and measures of the whole country. Today, the power of the Qin Dynasty is engraved with the imperial edict of unified measurement issued in the 26th year of the Qin Dynasty (2 1 1). This kind of weight has been unearthed and widely distributed, and it has also been found outside the Great Wall, which shows that unified measurement is serious and effective.

In the Qin dynasty, the law also stipulated the allowable limit of weights and measures error, which stipulated that six feet was a step and 240 steps was an acre. However, the 240-step system was actually only used in the old Qin Dynasty, and may have been used in the old Zhao Dynasty, while many areas in the East still used 100 step as an acre until the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty.

The unification of writing, currency and weights and measures and the completion of roads have provided convenient conditions for economic and cultural development and promoted the development of a unified country. The Qin dynasty unified currency, unified measurement, unified writing and unified track, which had a great influence on later generations.
