Touching deeds of people who have contributed to the motherland

1. Wang Jinxi

Wang Jinxi (October 8, 1923 - November 15, 1970) was born in Chijinbao, Yumen County, Gansu Province (his ancestral home is Da, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province). Jiaojia Village, Qiangbai Town, Li County), oil worker at Daqing Oilfield, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, China.

In March 1960, he led his team from Yumen to Daqing to participate in the Petroleum Conference, carrying forward the patriotic spirit of "sharing worries for the country and fighting for the nation" and fighting tenaciously to end the "foreign oil" era.

He organized the entire team of workers to break the drilling rig into parts, used the "people pulling and shouldering" method to transport and install the drilling rig, and worked hard for 3 days and 3 nights to erect the derrick on the wasteland. When drilling the first well, in order to solve the shortage of water supply, Wang Jinxi led the workers to break the ice to collect water and use "basin end bucket lifting" to transport water to ensure the drilling.

A blowout suddenly occurred while drilling the second well. There was no barite powder for killing the well, so Wang Jinxi decided to use cement instead. Without a mixer, he took the lead and jumped into the cement slurry pool to use his body, regardless of his leg injury. After stirring and fighting by the whole team of workers, the blowout was finally subdued.

He led the 1205 drilling team to work hard, drilled the first oil well in Daqing, and set a world drilling record of 100,000 meters per year, demonstrating the spirit of Daqing’s oil workers and contributing to the development of my country’s oil industry. Made important contributions and became a banner on China's industrial front. The "Iron Man Spirit" and "Daqing Spirit" he left behind have become valuable assets for my country's socialist construction cause.

2. Kong Fansen

Kong Fansen (July 1944-November 1994), male, Han nationality, member of the Communist Party of China, native of Liaocheng, Shandong, the 74th generation grandson of Confucius. He joined the army at the age of 18 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1966. After demobilization in 1969, he first worked as a worker and was later promoted to a state cadre.

In 1979, the state wanted to dispatch a group of cadres from the mainland to work in Tibet. Kong Fansen, then deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Liaocheng Prefectural Committee, took the initiative to sign up and asked someone to write "It is a seven-foot man who can sacrifice himself. A banner with the slogan "The ghost will never return home after death."

When he first arrived in Tibet, he wrote "Loyal bones are buried everywhere in the mountains, and blood is sprinkled on the plateau" to mark his ambition. In 1992, an earthquake occurred in Heizhu, Gongka and other counties in Lhasa. Kong Fansen, who was the deputy mayor of Lhasa, rushed to the disaster area.

There, he adopted three orphans, Quni, Quyin and Gongsang, aged 12, 7 and 5 years old. Kong Fansen took them back to Lhasa, took care of their lives, and taught them how to read and write. At night, Kong Fansen and the children slept on a big bed.

Young children often wet the bed at night, so he takes the trouble to wash and change the sheets. As long as he has free time during holidays, he said he would take them to the park, visit stores and buy them clothes.

Although Kong Fansen is the deputy mayor, every time he goes to the countryside, he always brings some of his own money to the villagers who are living in difficulty. Often, just after half of January, his salary is all spent, and sometimes he even has food. The fee is not enough to pay. He often eats pickled mustard mixed with rice, but he doesn't want his children to suffer like him. What if he doesn't have enough money?

Kong Fansen donated blood in exchange for money to supplement his children’s nutrition. Mayor Gesang Dunzhu saw that Kong Fansen was too burdened and took Qu Ni away. However, something unfortunate happened. On November 29, 1994, Kong Fansen died in a car accident on his way to Tacheng, Xinjiang to inspect border trade. He was only 50 years old.

In 2008, Wang Ying's condition began to deteriorate, but she still did not give up reading books and newspapers. In the hospital, she often told her patients that reading and reading newspapers can make people feel happy physically and mentally and forget their pain.

The day before her death, she made a special call to arrange for the cadres of the Nanjiang County Commission for Discipline Inspection to help her find the "Third Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the Party, the Sixth Plenary Session of the Ninth Provincial Party Committee, and the Propaganda Department of the Nanjiang County Party Committee". 5. Huang Jiguang

Huang Jiguang (January 8, 1931 - October 20, 1952), a national hero. Born in Zhongjiang County, Sichuan Province in 1931, he is a correspondent of the 9th Company of the 135th Regiment of the 45th Division of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army.

On October 14, 1952, the United Nations Army began to launch a crazy attack on the 597.9 Highlands and 537.7 Buksan Highlands in Sangganling, Kimhwa County, Gangwon Province. Shangganling is located on the Five Sacred Mountains. It is the gate to the center line of the Volunteer Army and a steel knife that penetrates the heart of the United Nations Army.

On a highland of less than 4 square kilometers, the United Nations Army mobilized two divisions and launched continuous attacks with the cooperation of aircraft, tanks, and artillery. The Volunteer Army and the United Nations Army launched a fierce battle.

On the evening of October 19, 1952, Huang Jiguang's 2nd Battalion was ordered to counterattack at 597.9 Heights on the right side of Shangganling. The position must be occupied before dawn to lay the foundation for the victory of the entire counterattack. The group's firepower point set up by the United Nations forces on the top of the mountain suppressed the volunteer counterattack forces from advancing. The battalion chief of staff ordered the 6th Company to organize a demolition team to blow it up.

The 6th Company launched five charges against the enemy, but failed to destroy the enemy's firepower points, and one comrade-in-arms fell down one after another. At this time, there were only more than 40 minutes until dawn. Time is life. At this critical moment, Huang Jiguang, standing next to the battalion chief of staff, stepped forward. He took out the letter of determination he had already written and handed it to the chief of staff, and said sincerely: "Leave the task to me. As long as I have breath, I will complete the task."

When he was eight or nine meters away from the enemy's firepower point, he raised his right hand and threw grenades at the enemy one after another. However, because the firepower point was too large, only half of it was destroyed. When the troops took advantage of the situation and launched an attack, the remaining bunker remained. The machine guns inside suddenly fired wildly again, and the charge of the volunteer counterattack troops was blocked. At this time, Huang Jiguang was injured and fell down again.

It was about to dawn. At this time, Huang Jiguang had no ammunition around him and was injured in many places. He tenaciously crawled towards the fire point, pointing at the enemy's gun that was spitting flames, puffing up his chest and opening his arms. , rushed forward. In an instant, the enemy's flames were extinguished, and the roaring machine guns fell silent.

Huang Jiguang used his young life to open up a path for victory for the troops. Inspired by Huang Jiguang's heroic feat, the troops shouted "Come on! Avenge Huang Jiguang!" Following the road Huang Jiguang crawled on, they quickly occupied the position and annihilated the two battalions of defenders.
