What are the medical monographs?

The five major medical works in ancient China are Huangdi Neijing, Shennong Herbal Classic, Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Qianjin Fang Yi and Compendium of Materia Medica.

2. Huangdi Neijing is a comprehensive medical work, which established the theories of Yin and Yang, five elements, pulse condition, Tibetan image, meridians, etiology and pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, health preservation and luck.

3. Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, also known as Classic of Materia Medica or Classic of Materia Medica, is one of the four classic works of TCM. As the earliest extant TCM works, it originated from Shennong and was handed down from generation to generation. It was compiled into a book in the Eastern Han Dynasty, but it couldn't be written for a while, and the author was different. Many medical scientists in Qin and Han dynasties collected, summarized and compiled monographs on the achievements of pharmacology at that time.

4. Treatise on Febrile Diseases systematically analyzes the etiology, symptoms, development stages and treatment methods of typhoid fever, creatively establishes the principle of treating typhoid fever according to the classification of six meridians, and lays the theoretical foundation of principle, method, prescription and medicine.
