Function: Indication for relieving exterior and interior, regulating yin and yang. Yang is dominant in fire, spleen stagnation is not reached, exterior evil is not stopped, internal evil is abundant, cold and heat, body pain and no sweat, thirst and aversion to heat.

Various schools argue that shaoyang belongs to fire, and it is cold and hot when it is depressed in phlegm, but Bupleurum root can't reach it, and Scutellaria baicalensis can't clear it, which corresponds to shaoyang meridian qi, so it is considered a gentleman; If the pathogenic factors persist and the cold water is combined, the cold will get worse and the syndrome will be painful and anhidrosis. Therefore, I use the sweetness of Radix Puerariae, Qiang and Fang to help Radix Bupleuri, nourish and disperse Yang, and keep evil away from yin and cold. People who are full of internal evils and dry with golden qi will have a high fever, and the syndrome is thirst and aversion to heat. They will also help Scutellaria baicalensis draw Yin Qi with the bitterness and sweetness of Anemarrhena asphodeloides and gypsum, so that evil can leave Yang and heat itself. With the light infiltration of Polyporus umbellatus, Yin and Yang are separated and cannot be combined; Use cardamom to activate qi and licorice to soothe the nerves. In order to reconcile the exterior and interior, it is also a good way to regulate yin and yang and stop cold and heat.
