The records of ten famous swords are mostly found in ancient books or legends, such as Historical Records, Yuejueshu, Liezi, Wu Yue Chun Qiu and so on. Some of them are true, and some are just the product of people's illusion or literary rendering. There is no unearthed information about these swords at present.
There is another saying: Ten famous swords: Conquering Evil, Chun Jun, Zhan Lu, Giant Sparrow, Fish Intestine, Tai Ai, Longyuan, Miyabe, Ganjiang and Mo Xie. Among them, Tai Ai, Long Yuan, Ministry of Industry, Zhan Lu, Juque, Fish Intestine, Chun Jun and Sheng Evil were voted by Ou Yezi.
