Later, many monarchs established many Taoist temples on Songshan because of the five sacred mountains, and there was a Taoist ancestor like Zhang Daoling at that time, so Songshan was the holy land of Quanzhen religion, so Songshan can be regarded as one of the founding places of Taoism. Even later, the Taoist culture of Songshan did not disappear, and it was awarded the title of the sixth Taoist hole.
Second, the Confucian holy land Confucian holy land is related to the academy above Songshan. The names of Suiyang Academy, Yuelu Academy, Bailudong Academy and Songshan Academy are not for nothing. There are many Confucian scholars who have taught in any academy. The famous people in the history of Songshan Academy are Fan Zhongyan, Li Gang and Sima Guang. Cheng Yi and Cheng Hao, two great scholars in Song Dynasty, were also leaders of Songshan Academy, even in Qing Dynasty.
Third, the Buddhist holy land Buddhist holy land is better understood because there is Shaolin Temple in Songshan, and the Buddhist temples in Songshan are still the oldest. According to records, monks in the Han Dynasty built temples in Songshan Mountain. Although the Central Plains experienced several actions to destroy Buddhism, Songshan was not greatly affected, and it caught up with the most respected time of Buddhism in the Northern Wei Dynasty. The Buddhist culture in Songshan was very prosperous during that time, and the most famous Shaolin Temple was actually built during that time.
