Legend about the Queen Mother of the West:
Cowherd and Weaver Girl were originally gods and mortals who were far apart from each other in heaven and earth. When the Weaver Girl secretly went down to play, she was moved by the honest and hardworking Cowherd, and they got married, which made a beautiful love fairy tale. When the Queen Mother knew about this, it was because the Weaver Girl violated the heaven: "It is forbidden for fairies to marry mortals without authorization".
On the way back to heaven, the mountain soldiers escorted the Weaver Girl, and the Cowherd was on the verge of catching up. In desperation, in order to safeguard the dignity of heaven, the Queen Mother pulled out all the gods on her head and drew an endless Tianhe out of thin air to separate the Weaver Girl from the Cowherd.
Later, they were stronger than gold, which moved the queen mother and made her feel pity. So her kindness outside the law made them meet on the Queqiao Bridge on July 7th every year (one day in the sky, ten years on the ground), which was considered as a human feeling outside the legal principle, giving the inseparable lovers an expectation, and also giving the human beings on the earth a trace of yearning and pursuit for beautiful love.
