Fourth, thick? Thin?
The brochure covers a lot of content. If they are thick, they will convey the impression of rich information, strong texture and strong professionalism. However, when designing, it is necessary to consider that it is difficult for salespeople to carry information when attending the exhibition, and try not to compress the pages of the brochure too much. How to display more content in a limited area without affecting the appearance has become an important indicator to test designers.
Five, set the size
Irregular and unconventional size design can easily stand out among many brochures, but irregular brochures are not convenient for us to collect in folders. Sometimes I want to throw it away, which has advantages and disadvantages. It is important that our designers remind you that the design size of special-shaped objects can be controlled within the range of conventional sizes. Please think it over before making a decision.
The size of the brochure can be set at will. Consider the size of the printed paper and try not to waste it (all losses are paid by the customer). The size of 16 in China is 2 10*285mm, while the size of 2 10*297mm commonly used abroad is only 12mm, so it is worth paying the price of 1.5 times. Customers should have the right to know and decide, so sometimes the design can't be arbitrary, and it is mature to consider Zhou Quan.
VI. Delivery
The issue of delivery is a matter of detail. For example, AE will ask customers in advance how to deliver goods, how to package and how to repackage. Cow box or carton? There are many problems that need attention, some of which can only be found in cooperation. Comprehensive consideration is more conducive to quick harvest, and customers don't have to count subcontracting in the office, so they are so tired that they are sweating.
Seven, the source file
Many customers can't provide source files when designing with past data. If the customer wants to make some changes, reuse or select materials, this will become impossible. This is actually as important as losing files, which adds a lot of trouble to the follow-up work.
It turns out that many advertising companies do not provide design source files. We firmly believe that since the customer has paid the design fee, he should give the source file to the customer for later use. In addition, we will keep the source files for our customers. Customers often come to our company to look for information from last year or earlier, because we have a clear data engraving and filing system, and everything becomes easy.
Eight, CD.
AE will put a CD sticker on the customer's document CD, indicating the customer, project, format, date, etc. Rich information can be easily found even if it is mixed in a pile of CDs. It is very convenient for customers to file or forward to others for use. Maybe you don't think it's important, but when you have dozens or hundreds of CDs to manage and find, you will find that clear labeling is a timely help.
Nine, picture output
In the design, reading, proofreading and revising the manuscript many times are realized by transferring pictures. It seems like a simple thing to output pictures, but it often becomes inefficient and takes a lot of time because of this problem. Whether it is QQ, MSN online transmission, or email, it is very slow. Once I opened a document in PSD format and the text popped up line by line. At that time, I was confident that PSD, a pure text format, had become an animation.
The picture is too big and the designer's output is slow. It takes half to 1 hour to output a set of readable JPG from the source file to the customer, so the time is spent. Therefore, designers should have a good grasp of the appropriate accuracy of the output, not too large for easy operation, nor too small, too small to see clearly.
X. communication
To be an industry, we should get to know each other, take the time to know the companies that do well in this industry, listen to the opinions of sales staff and listen to the explanations of products by technicians. In fact, these things can not be done. Customers provide words and pictures, which can be arranged directly without too much investigation.
We believe that only by deeply understanding the customer's industry and really liking this product can we think from the customer's point of view. Our communication will be smoother, sample books will be more vivid, conform to the characteristics of the industry, and meet the reading needs of readers.
