In the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he was trapped in Cao Ying, unmoved by gold and silver, beautiful women and wealth, and finally left. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, he was regarded as a loyal and powerful "Devil Conqueror" and "Emperor Guan Sheng". In modern times, merchants regarded the above four people as "God of Wealth" (Fan Li and Bigan) and "Wu Caishen" (Zhao Gongming and Guan Yu) respectively.
