After the establishment of the Tang Dynasty, Sun Simiao began to accept the invitation of the imperial court and cooperate with it to carry out medical activities. In 659 AD, the world's first national pharmacopoeia, Tang Xin Materia Medica, was completed. Sun Simiao died in 682 AD.
