The Northern Qi Law was simplified by Wei Law and Jin Law. However, there are still as many as 2,926 laws. The laws of the Northern Qi Dynasty were re-merged, and all the laws were simplified to 949 articles, which realized the legislative requirements of "examining and clarifying the articles, and making the selection of code content reach a new level.
In the legislative activities of the Three Kingdoms, the Jin Dynasty and the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Northern Qi Law has the highest legislative level and the greatest legislative achievements, which can be called the crystallization of legislative technology and legislative experience in previous dynasties. As Cheng Shude summed up: "In the laws of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the North was superior to the South, and the Northern Dynasty especially focused on the Qi law." In the history of ancient Chinese legal compilation, it had a great influence on later legislation. Huang Kai Law in Sui Dynasty was based on the Northern Qi Law, and the laws in Tang Dynasty were based on Huang Kai Law, which became the legislative basis of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties and directly influenced the legal development of other neighboring countries in Asia.
