1, Xinhua Dictionary

Of course, Xinhua Dictionary is a modern Chinese dictionary after all, and its collection of archaic words and ancient meanings is very limited. Therefore, it is necessary to consult other dictionaries.

The book was written in the fifty-fifth year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 17 16), and * * * received more than 47,000 words. Words that can't be found in the general dictionary can be found on it. This dictionary is arranged by radicals, and the whole book has 2 14 radicals. 3. Chinese dictionary

It is a large-scale dictionary published only in the 1980s, and it has the largest number of words at present, with about 56,000 words. In terms of glyphs, Oracle Bone Inscriptions, inscriptions on bronze and Xiao Zhuan are listed, which can reflect the evolution of forms. In phonetics, we can first mark the modern pronunciation of the received words with phonetic symbols, and then list the ancient styles, and mark their phonological status and parts. It is a large-scale reference book to find the shape, pronunciation and meaning of Chinese characters. A slight deficiency is the lack of generality of meaning, which inevitably leads to improper division and combination of meaning.
