When did the earliest seal appear!

The earliest widespread use of seals in China was in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and the Warring States Period (403-22 BC1), which can be proved by many seals unearthed from the ancient tombs of the Warring States Period. However, according to the records of ancient books and documents, the use of seals can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (77 BC1-403 BC). However, scholars in the National Palace Museum in Taipei presumed that these two ancient Shang Dynasty seals belonged to the late Shang Dynasty (before 1050 BC) according to the textual research of the seal appearance and seal, but these two seals lacked actual archaeological records, so some scholars expressed doubts.
