Is there really a dragon in the history of China? Why are dragons recorded in so many historical documents?

The earliest record? Long Xian? The incident took place in the Xia Dynasty. Emperor Kong Jia ascended the throne in the year of Renyin, specializing in ghosts and gods, not good at governing the country, and ministers did not listen. One day, two dragons, a female and a male, descended from the sky and landed outside the court. ? It means that when the emperor ascended the throne, he didn't do anything serious, only engaged in ghosts and gods, ignoring state affairs. Ministers protested many times to no avail. So, one day, two dragons fell outside the door and warned the emperor not to neglect government affairs.

In the 800 years since the Han Dynasty, there have been many events about Long Xian recorded in various official history, as many as 100 times, such as the Book of the Later Han Dynasty? Records of Five Elements, Book of Jin and Draft of Qing History are all recorded.

Tang Bu Lu records that one day in the last years of Tang Xiantong, a dragon fell in Tongcheng, injured his throat and died on the spot. It is described above that the faucet has double horns and scales on its body, and the dragon has two feet and four feet under its abdomen. This dragon is more than ten feet long, with half body and tail.

In the Southern Song Dynasty, a dragon appeared at Taibai Lake, presumably a white-bellied dragon with a green back. It also has horns on its head and scales all over it. It is lying on the edge of Taibai Lake, dying, and it stinks. People nearby also built a pavilion for this dragon, and the local government also sent people to worship it. After a few days of thunderstorm, the dragon disappeared, leaving a shallow ditch where the dragon lay.

I only said a small part, and there are many documents. The records in the history books are very vivid and easy for people to substitute.

But you can't just look at these materials. If you look up the literature of the same period, you will find that some bad things will happen every time before the dragon, such as natural disasters such as earthquakes and droughts in the local area, and a large number of refugees are left unattended by the court, which means that the emperor has no moral preparation regardless of political affairs. At this time, the dragon appeared.

The ancients thought that as long as there is peace and prosperity and many good things on the earth, then God will reward you. For example, if the weather is fine, people can live and work in peace. But if there are many bad things in the world, and the emperors of the dynasty are extravagant and don't ask about life and death, dragons will appear. The ancients believed that dragons were the representatives of heaven.

In fact, if you dig deeper, you will find that the civil servants who wrote history books in ancient times may be specially designed to scare the emperor and warn him not to go too far, otherwise they will be punished by heaven.

So, from this perspective, dragons may not exist. However, due to various falling events and rumors in modern times, it is not certain that dragons really do not exist, because some people believe that dragons really exist, while others do not.

As the old saying goes, if you believe, you will have it, but if you don't believe, you will have it! what do you think?
