Appearance of China Literature Museum (picture from official website, China Literature Museum)
What venue is this? On the official website, I introduced myself like this.
Screenshot of China Literature Museum official website. According to reports, China Literature Museum is a national museum approved by the State Council, China. As the first museum with the theme of characters in China, it has a collection of 4 123 cultural relics, including 305 first-class cultural relics, covering Oracle Bone Inscriptions, bronze inscriptions, bamboo slips and silks, the history of Chinese characters, the history of China calligraphy, minority languages, world languages and many other aspects.
If you want to go to a museum, are you like Tadpole Jun, and what you want to know most is "What is the treasure of this museum?"
Alas, the treasure of the town hall is really worth mentioning, that is, "the heavy weapon of the country-Jaber pot".
Jaber pot (picture from official website, China Literature Museum)
Jaber pot is a pair of dowry copper pots, which is one of the best-preserved bronze heavyweights in the late Western Zhou Dynasty in China. 20 12 the third anniversary of the opening of China literature museum, this pair of bronze pots officially entered the museum and became the most precious cultural relics collected so far.
Jaber's pot is 48 cm high and 30 cm in diameter. The cross section of the pot is a square with rounded corners. The spout is flat, the abdomen is bulging, there is a field-shaped edge on it, and the abdomen is smooth. Dragon-shaped animal heads are attached to both sides of the pot neck, and the crown of Feng Niaowen is cast on the neck. The folding mouth of the lid is the waist of the lid, with S-shaped double dragon pattern on it and no eye-catching pattern around it. There are eight lines and thirty-three characters (including the second text) cast on the lid of the pot. The inscription describes that in February of one year, Jia Bo cast a pair of bronze pots for his eldest daughter who was about to marry away from home, to worship her ancestors and pray for a long life.
It is of great value to study the inscription content of Jaber's pot. Jia Guoli died in Jin in the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty and the early Spring and Autumn Period. There is a record of Jia Bo's expedition in Zuozhuan Huangong Nine Years. In the past, Guo Jia's utensils were only Jiazi brand unearthed in Wenxi, Shanxi Province and Uncle Sun Jia's plate unearthed in Zhucheng, Shandong Province. Therefore, scholars generally believe that Jia Zi is the monarch of Jia State. This inscription on Jia Bo proves in kind that the monarch of Jia Guo is the "Jia Bo" recorded in Zuo Zhuan, and Jia Guo is a more advanced Bo country rather than a sub-country, so the historical materials are of great value.
In addition, the bronze pots used in sacrificial ceremonies in the Western Zhou Dynasty are in pairs, and so far there are few bronze pots in pairs in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Jaber pots are paired, covered, complete in shape, rough in pattern, unique in shape and high in artistic value.
It is not easy to say that Jaber Pot came to Anyang from abroad.
Gabby pot was originally hidden in Yuyazhai of Ms. Liang Mei in Hong Kong. 20 1 1, Ms. Liang wants to sell pots. Under the arrangement of the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, the China Literature Museum made a collection plan for Gaby Pots and reported it to National Cultural Heritage Administration. Subsequently, National Cultural Heritage Administration invited national cultural relics experts to strictly identify the pot, determined that it was a rare treasure with high research value and historical value, and suggested that it should be collected by China Literature Museum. Since then, China Chinese Language Museum has consulted with cultural relics collectors for many times, and reached an agreement on February 20 12 to put the pot in China Chinese Language Museum.
Seeing this history, Tadpole Jun couldn't wait to buy a ticket right away and go directly to Anyang to feast his eyes.
By the way, the China Museum of Literature has several important exhibits. If you go, don't forget to have a look!
