There are many sources of "married couples", one of which is a legend about an emperor. According to legend, an ancient emperor was worried that his beard was too short and would be looked down upon by his officials the night before he ascended the throne (in ancient times, the length of beard was often regarded as an important symbol of men's talent and courage), so he couldn't sleep. The queen around her takes care of it. She cut off her hair and carefully attached it to the emperor's beard, so that the short beard grew into a beard overnight. When the emperor ascended the throne the next day, the ministers saw that the emperor's beard had passed through his navel overnight, and they all marveled that "it was the only thrill"! Therefore, the story of the queen cutting her hair and shaving her beard for the emperor is praised by the world. Later, people used "married couples" to express the deep feelings between couples who helped each other and loved each other.
The second is the ancient marriage custom. In ancient times, the bun on the wife's head in the bridal chamber could not be untied by herself. The ancient book "Wedding in Yi Li" records: "The master enters the room and takes off the bride's tassel." It means that only the husband can untie the bun. Later, people called men and women who got married for the first time "married couples".
