B. If it is really lost or damaged, and it is impossible to buy new books and periodicals with the same edition or reprinted, according to the factors such as the rarity, use value and borrowing frequency of books and periodicals, the Chinese language shall be compensated by 5 times and the foreign language by 10 times.
C. If one volume of a series or multi-volume book is lost, and the volume has no unit price, the average unit price of the book can be used as the base, and then compensation can be made according to the highest multiple of Chinese and foreign languages.
D. In case of loss of hardcover and bound books and periodicals, in addition to compensation according to the multiple of the preceding paragraph, compensation shall also be made together with the binding fee. If damages cannot replace the overdue use fee, the overdue fee should be calculated first, and then the book fee should be calculated together.
