156 Discovered contiguous Han tombs in Heze, Shandong Province. What do these discoveries of Han tombs mean?

Taking history as a mirror, we can know the rise and fall. Excavation of ancient tombs can not only understand the cultural characteristics of ancient times, but also understand the replacement and development of dynasties. Recently, a large number of contiguous ancient tombs have been discovered in Heze, Shandong Province. It is understood that there are 156 Han tombs in a * * and 9 in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. This discovery is also of great significance. These ancient tombs also provide important reference materials for studying the cultural outlook, exchange and integration, rise and fall of Heze area from the middle of the new period to the Han Dynasty.

? Heze City, Shandong Province itself is home to many cultural sites. In order to cooperate with the construction of Lou Wei Reservoir Project, Shandong Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, together with Heze local cultural relics department, discovered three ancient cultural sites, namely, Sun Courtyard No.8 Team, Houzhuang No.8 Team and Houzhuang West Site. Among them, Sun Dayuan's Eighth Team covers an area of 1.2 million square meters. It is found that the tombs in the Han Dynasty are mainly pit tombs and brick tombs, which are numerous and densely distributed, and should belong to the Han Dynasty.

As for the funerary objects, including ding, pot, pot, plate and so on. There are also some couples buried in graves, and it seems that many of them have been stolen. Sun Dayuan, the archaeological leader of the DuDu team, also introduced that the specifications and funerary objects of the tombs did not exceed the products of the civilian class, so this time they were mostly tombs of the people. Therefore, the discovery of large Han tombs is of great significance for us to study the local social and cultural life history, as well as the class distribution and various customs at that time.

After understanding, archaeologists also made a preliminary appraisal of the general settlement evolution in this area. The northern new culture era began to be inhabited, the culture flourished in Longshan era, then declined, and reached the peak of human activities in the Eastern Zhou and Han Dynasties, during which the economy developed highly. But after the Han Dynasty, the flood began to intensify, and people could not live here for a long time, so they had to go back when there were many people. It can be said that without the preservation of history and culture by these ancient tombs, it is impossible for us to know the development and evolution of ancient times, so the study of history is of great significance to us.
