Plot summary

In an old-fashioned courtyard house facing demolition a hundred years later, the unlucky Prince Yidou, who dreams of getting rich all his life, is troubled by the dream of "hot gold bars" day and night, and is restless. The family of Wang Yidou in the East House and the mother's family in the West House live across the street from each other. Although they are the in-laws of their children, they have become enemies on opposite sides, and the in-laws have become enemies.
