1, open the word document.
2. Click the Insert menu at the top.
3. Then click "Page Number" below.
4. Select the page number format in the pop-up drop-down menu.
5. Set the number format, such as the number 1, 2, 3.
6. Then set the chapter number and the starting number of the page number, and finally click OK.
